We are looking for a Voluntary Assistant Manager to join our coaching team and work with our women’s first team (Blues) who compete in the BUCS Midlands 1A league as well as an annual Varsity Match against the University of Oxford.

This role will provide you with experience working as a qualified football coach with a women’s team in a competitive league, giving you valuable knowledge to help you to progress in your coaching career. It will also offer an insight into the practicalities of helping players to develop on the field whilst balancing their academic commitments.

Role responsibilities

- Work alongside the current manager to plan and deliver high quality training sessions and match day programs.

- Communicate clearly and effectively with coaching staff and players.

- Evaluate sessions and player performances to contribute to player development.

Role requirements

- Minimum FA Level 2 in Coaching Football Award

- Have a keen interest in developing the women’s game

- Be able to attend training sessions on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons, and games on Wednesday afternoons.

- Be available to start as soon as possible

- We particularly encourage female coaches to apply
